Thanks to Collier RV and the entire crew for an exceptional customer experience, service & support for our first family camper travel trailer. On arrival we were welcomed right away and had the pleasure of working with Heidi who helped us to select the camper that was perfect for our family and situation. Chris was on top of it through the entire process and truly made us feel like royalty walking out of there. The guys in the shop were so helpful though orientation, covering everything we needed to know for proper care, maintenance, and safety. They literally showed how everything worked in and outside the camper. Took questions gave answers and was so patient and professional while assisting us. 1/4 way through a 5,000 mile trip, to Alaska, with our 5th wheel; I experienced serious tire failure on 2 tires. I was so glad to be able to have the angel Angela answer at service. She quickly understood my needs and said she would call back with solutions. In 10 minutes (quicker than expected) Angela had multiple options to get my 5th wheel up and going within 48hrs. I chose the "same day" option. When I arrived, I was greeted with smiles (Angel Angela) and met my assigned service tech Bob. After 10 seconds; I knew I came to the right place. Long story; short- my tire issue, and bearing repack, and service tech saw a wire cut on brakes I didn't know about, was fixed in 3 hours. I wish there was more Collier RV service centers across the world. Not only was this by far the BEST camper service I have experienced; it was one of the best ever customer service experiences. Collier RV has the right people, and the right products in stock to exceed expectations. Thank you Collier team!! We’ve bought three campers from Collier. Unlike many dealerships that our friends have bought campers from, Collier takes care of you after you’ve bought your camper. They never fight us on warranty issues. Ken in service is wonderful. Also loved working with Tricia. She couldn’t have been friendlier.

I will definitely tell you to not even consider going to any other RV dealership. Such a comfortable, relaxed experience. Each step of the way, everyone was amazing. From the beginning when we called to set up a time to come in and look at the different RVs we saw on the website to the final interaction of the delivery of the 5th wheel to our site. Collier’s employees definitely want to do their best and the customer service does not stop after you sign on the dotted line. So different from the other dealerships we had visited prior to Collier’s.
We found that Collier’s has many small town employees that knew exactly where we were coming from. We actually live over an hour away from the dealership and it was more than comforting to know that so many of the employees are small town people.
Kevin Tessendorf was our salesman and we really couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He let us take our time viewing the ones we had on our list and even a couple that he suggested after meeting with us. He wasn’t pushy or demanding. So professional. He worked hard to make sure that the 2 things we needed to get the 5th wheel to our permanent site would be managed by Collier’s.
We also met John Slick and John Tessendorf on our first visit; both of them also from our same small town area. Each time we called or visited the dealership, everyone treated us like we were the only people that they were dealing with.
Our pre-purchase inspection went well. Since this was our first 5th wheel purchase, it was nice that we were able to take our time and ask as many questions as we needed. Nunzio had our paperwork ready after the walk through.
John Tessendorf was amazing and after I called with not much notice, he was able to set up the delivery of the RV to our permanent site on the day that I needed. My wife and I would like to thank Collier RV for their exceptional customer service. We reside in Kansas and I was a little nervous when the camper my wife wanted was a few states away. Todd Johnson and the Collier RV team eased our nerves with the first phone call. When they learned that we lived out of state their team made a video and sent it to us so we could see every part of the trailer before making the trip to Illinois. First time camper owners. Purchasing here was a great experience! It wasn't the first place we looked but it was the friendliest and most laid back. Todd was great at communicating through email with us prior to coming in. We scheduled to look at a few and he was very informative of the pros and cons of each camper and seemed to have a lot of knowledge about the background stories of the companies the campers came from. He never made us feel trapped or obligated to buy and there was never a pushy sales pitch. He was very flexible with our schedules and made sure everything went smoothly. He was definitely a pleasure to talk to and we loved seeing all the pictures and hearing all the hawk stories in his office. A walk through was scheduled with the service department and they took their time and went over everything with us. Even answered all of our questions and taught us first timers anything and everything they could think of that we would need to know. Financing was also a breeze. All the staff was super helpful and welcoming. We were planning on buying used but fell in love with a new one and Todd made it happen in our price range. He stayed late for us, showed us what we were interested in and was never pushy. If you buy an RV anywhere other than Collier, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Unlike some dealers I’ve heard about, they won’t forget about you right after you’ve signed the dotted line. We bought our Arctic Wolf 5th wheel last summer with Heidi Johns as our sales woman. She was fantastic every step of the way. Not at all pushy, very knowledgeable and patient with our needs. If you have anything go wrong with your RV, Angela Burgett in the service department will relentlessly work to resolve your problem. I simply cannot overstate her performance with helping us. We absolutely love our 5th wheel, but it did have a significant defect. Angela and Drew pulled out the stops to help us get the repairs we needed. When the repairs were finished, Joe Troutman hauled it back to our campsite. He could have just unloaded and said “See ya”. But he stayed with us, helped level it, and made sure all systems were operating properly before he departed.
